Super Mario.

Along with hot wheels, colouring, taping, and pretending he's a kitty cat...Jude's other obsession is playing Super Mario with his dad. So at his request, this is what he wants to be for Halloween. What does a 2010 mom do when she's faced with this request? She searches ebay for overalls, white gloves and the Mario hat. (She thinks she can handle the moustache on her own.) The overalls and gloves arrived from Florida today, but the $1 hat from Hong Kong ($11 in shipping) will hopefully arrive before October 31!!

Here's Jude's version of Super Mario, and for those of you who think I sometimes 'art direct' Jude's drawings this one was completed while I was in the shower (or I probably would have suggested the eyes look less alien :)
