Toast sticks.

Jude really enjoys feeding himself. He's not very talented at the task, but is adamant you let him try. I have found "toast sticks" to be easy to handle and with the right amount of margarine a tasty treat. As you can see one at a time isn't for Jude.

Speaking of all that you can handle, I've become a believer that you are only given what you can handle. Yesterday we found out the nanny share was not going to work out, and were on the hunt once again for someone to take care of Jude. With Monday only days away, the task seemed daunting. Then as luck would have it, my friend's nanny's last day is Friday and was looking for a part-time nanny position. It almost seems too good to be true, her name is even angelic, it's Evangeline. We'll meet with her tonight to go over details, but for now the stress level is down from 11 (on a scale of 1-10) to about a 6.

Jude and I are now off to get baby-proofing supplies. He's discovered opening cupboard doors and the fireplace. Here's hoping your day is full of new discoveries too!
