Mission Control.

Ever wonder where Jude sits when he create his masterpieces of tape, black Sharpie, cut paper, feathers, glue, more tape, some stickers and just a bit more tape?

Well for the past few weeks it has been here at the same table and chairs I used to create things when I was Jude's age. Now, my mother outlawed unsupervised tape use, and I don't think we had black Sharpies back then, probably no coloured feathers (just what you found on the ground after dad shot at some magpies), not sure if there were child-safe scissors...but the table and chairs are the same! And since I had a twin sister to help me haul them around, they went outside under the fir trees (yes, I said fir trees), inside the sunflower house that our mom planted (full of bees...but pretty in theory), inside the teepee tent that smelled and had spiders, and mostly dragged around in the basement with skipping ropes tied all around the chairs. So many memories in just that little table and two chairs :)

I never had to worry about plugging in my cell phone, or losing reception under the fir trees :)

Here's hoping Jude creates as many great memories.
