Once a week, Jude and I spend the whole day together. We sleep in, watch Curious George while eating breakfast, and then find something fun to do. This usually means making whatever the dude on Artzooka has made. The good thing is that they post instructions on the website, since I'm never usually paying attention to know what Jude means when he says he wants to make "fishy friends".
(Note: I tried to scrub off those "prison-looking" tattoos, but Jude prefers the tough edge that Toy Story tattoos give him :)
Today was fishy friends day.
Jude preferred to eat the dough rather than roll it out for his fish. The kid won't eat most things I make him for dinner, but put together 2 parts flour to 1 part water with a little salt and he eats it like candy!!!
They only take FOREVER to dry, and then we'll paint them. Should be another interesting blog post.
I think we were more successful with the duct tape wallet.
Now this is something that you need to have tattoos when you wear it, or the other kids are definitely going to beat you up on the playground :)
At least at 4 it's still cute. The teeth are mean, right?
The instructions, as I know you are all dying to have your very own.
I'm feeling much better, and glad to get back to work and play. Jude is happy to be back at school too. 2011 has been pretty fun so far.

I found a microwave salt dough recipe that has been super for this type of stuff. NONedible though! Quick and easy, but you have to work at not burning it! Nasty smell, burnt salt dough.
