It was a fun Sunday! We went to see Seussical The Musical. Santa was there before the show, so Jude got a chance to sit on his knee and let him know ALL the presents that he wants for Christmas this year. Then it was time to see the Cat in the Hat perform. I wasn't sure how long he would sit still, but he loved it!
He loves his Cat in the Hat.
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, and not just weather-wise!
December is right around the corner. Jude had his appointment with his pediatrician on Friday of last week. He's doing great, and she has no concerns. We go to see his allergist on Wednesday, as there is a 60% chance he's not allergic to peanuts. Thus, they are going to do an "oral challenge" for peanuts. This means they give him small amounts of peanut butter and see if he reacts. Our pediatrician let us know that our allergist is pregnant, so we were lucky to get in before the baby. But this also means any future appointments will be at least a year off, as no one is taking over her practice during her maternity.
Good thing he's not allergic to cats :)
One final note from the grinch.
“Maybe Christmas,”
he thought, “doesn’t
come from a store.
Maybe Christmas…
perhaps…means a
little bit more!”

Oh my goodness wouldn't that be awesome if he wasn't allergic to peanuts. What about the milk allergy?
Unfortunately he will never grow out of the milk allergy, but we hope to "desensitize" him to dairy. They do this by having him ingest micro amounts daily, etc. to get his body used to the protein. Thus, we need our allergist to only have 1 kid :)
