Fun finding fish.

Last blog we were talking about making snowmen and today it's probably the hottest day of the summer! Jude and I drove out to Okotoks to find some fish (ok so they were minnos at best, and some of them weren't even fish but rather green things with lots of legs) with Bailey, Kaitlin and Briana.

Here are the girls convincing Jude to hold a fish, using our very sophisticated fish catching tool, my Starbuck's cup.

Best buddies.

Here's Jude feeding and decorating for his fish. They had a lovely mossy rock, some pieces of grass and lots of refills of water...courtesy of Jude.

After all that fishing, some chicken nuggets and fries were in order for the little fisherman. So off to McDonald's we went, and as an extra bonus it had a big slide. The exact slide that Gramma Annie told Bailey she couldn't go into when she was Jude's age because, "all the kids pee in there and it's dirty." Since Gramma wasn't there, Briana, Kaitlin and Bailey all went down the slide, even though they were a few years over the age limit. Jude preferred to watch, I guess he has a bit more Gramma Annie in him than Bailey :)

Thanks girls for such a fun way to spend one of the very last days of summer.
