Where can one experience all that in such a short time you ask? Heritage Park, of course! Here's Jude and my favourite car. I had explained to Jude the other day that I was "old fashioned" (because I don't talk to my phone through an earpiece in my ear...bluetooth for those of you in the know) and when I told Jude this was my favourite car it confirmed that mom was old fashioned.
Jude didn't seem to mind the old fashioned tricycles. He rode around and around this track, even stopping to fill up for gas for the Japanese tourists who thought he was so cute as they snapped pics and had their video cameras filming. In fact, once he noticed that he was being filmed he became quite the actor.
Mr. Tricycle Lemoine.
Then we met up with Auntie Aimee (and some rain).
And the beautiful Bedards. Sophie, Becky and Lauren. The carousel was a great place to escape the rain. Jude went for the carriage instead of the horses. I guess he prefers to be driven around. ( I have no idea where he gets that from :)
Then it was time to do a little fishing. Jude won a little yellow duckie and was THRILLED.
Off for a train ride.
He wasn't quite as impressed when we were on the train...perhaps the lack of a nap was becoming apparent.
Checking out the chickens.
Looking at some ducks...notice the prize winning yellow duck in Jude's hand.
As the saying goes, Jude was as happy as "a pig in _ _ _ _".
What a great way to spend an almost sunny summer day.
Hope you all are enjoying those summer holidays.
