And why is Jude sitting on a hospital bed with his iPod? Well because this is how we spent the morning of Mother's Day instead of riding the rails with the #1 tank engine. Poor little Jude had a fever all Saturday night and then started throwing-up. (He looks surprisingly healthy in this picture.) So off to the doctor we went to make sure he wasn't suffering from another ear infection. The good news is that his ears are fine, but he has a nasty cough and wants to sleep all the time. The sleeping part was a great Mother's Day present, as we had a really nice long nap together!
You know Jude isn't feeling well when his dad asked him if he wanted chicken nuggets from McDonald's for lunch when he picked him up and he said, "no."
Next time Thomas, we'll be there.
