Last night we went to the Morrisons for dinner and for some much needed playtime with Bailey. (Jude likes his ladies, as he's also been talking non-stop about Karissa coming to visit too.) For dessert, Auntie Lorraine made brownies. Jude ate 2 BIG brownies and wanted more and talked about them all the way home, so what did we do today? We made brownies.
And what better time to try out the new apron he got for Christmas from Auntie Lorraine. When I put the apron on him he said, "Hey, it's just like Gramma Annie!"
Let's hope the brownies are just like Auntie Lorraine's.
In other Jude news, we've been having lots of fun getting outside while the weather has really warmed up here. When we're inside we've been reading lots of books, finally Jude is interested in storytime. His latest favourite is Curious George. I have read Curious George Goes to the Chocolate Factory twice a day now for weeks. Even Jude is saying the words by heart!
He's a little chatterbox, and it is so much fun to listen to his stories. I should keep a notebook handy to write some of them down as I can never seem to remember them when it comes to share things on the blog. He's obsessed with the numbers 2, 3 and 5 lately. And he always needs, "5 more minutes, mom, just 5 more minutes."
Hope you're all well and enjoying something sweet for dessert too.

A life which includes brownies is a good life Jude.
