Congratulations to Gramma Annie and Papa Martin for still being so in love after 45 years. Jude and I were able to celebrate the big anniversary with Gramma and Papa this weekend in Taber.
Yup, they've made it to the top of married life. (I really like this photo because it feels so much like them, gramma is chatting away telling a story, and papa is listening and smiling. A perfect match.)
Jude set out to feed the birds down in the gulley, with Rice Krispies in his bucket. In the end, there were no birds and General (my parents' dog) ate all the Rice Krispies.
As per usual, there was some time spent with the rocks that are everywhere in Papa's yard.
And lots of tickle-time with Gramma.
And lots of wide-open space to zoom around on his quad.
What a great weekend. My hope is that Jude will remember these times with Gramma Annie and Papa Martin and know how much they love him and each other.
