Thank goodness Gramma Annie stopped in for a visit when she did, as the frost killed the sunflower last night. As Jude put it, "mommy, the flower's dead."
These 2 gardeners grow a pretty nice sunflower, even if did take longer than most. I think for next year they are going to have to plan for something that doesn't require quite so much sun and that can handle a lot of "handling".
Is there a Jell-O plant Gramma? Jude would eat more vegetables if they tasted like Jell-O.

Looks like the "Love of Jello" skips a generation,Jude it looks like you are making up for the jello your Mom didn't eat. Grandma will have lots of jello when you come to visit!!!!
