Dinosaur Day.

Yesterday Jude's school went to the Tyrell Museum in Drumheller. (I went along too as a parent volunteer.) Here's Jude trying to watch a video and get his picture taken.

Here's Jude and Sebastien, my other kid for the day. The teachers graciously gave me a very well behaved kid to look after. In fact he was so good I had a hard time giving him back at the end of the day.

Now my son on the other hand, not as well behaved. Look at him trying to crawl in with those fossils. He just can't seem to keep away from rocks.

Videos in the museum were also a hit.

See, Jude is at those rocks again while Sebastien poses for his picture.

Here are my boys just before getting on the bus. The playground tired them out enough that they napped all the way home. I was in need of a nap too, I naively thought that I would be sipping my coffee enjoying some dinosaur bones while the teachers organized everything....not.

The important thing is that Jude had a great time and I got to meet a lot of the other kids in his school and the teachers. The kids love their teachers and the teachers are so wonderful with the students. I think Jude is going to learn a lot and have so much fun at his new school.

I know I've learned a lot about boys, dinosaurs, rocks, superheros (did you know backpacks are batman's wings?) and just how much fun they all are.
