August already.

I can't believe it's August already. It feels like summer is almost over in more ways than one, as the temperature dropped almost 20 degrees today. I was relieved to be able to turn the fans off, but the furnace is almost going...sheesh. So Jude and I have been spending some quality time indoors, and Jude has been practicing his photography skills. He's mastered the up the nostrils shot.

We ventured outside to give you the garden update. The sunflower now reaches Jude's ear instead of the dog's ear.

The carrot crop is coming along. He ate all the peas, so sorry no picture of those 2 pea pods :)

And what better place to play on a rainy, cold day than under the table. I told Jude that Gramma Annie used to play under the table just like he was (the dining room suite is my Grandmother's). He responded, "Gramma's too big to play under the table." I was just worried it was all dusted under there, as that was the only request Gramma Annie had in giving me the table that I had to keep it dusted.

Here's hoping everyone found a way to have fun and stay warm on the long weekend.
