The good the bad and the ugly.

It has been a while since I last posted, and that's because so much has been happening. The good news first, Jude and I have found a new house. It's a townhouse actually, and it's in the community of Evergreen. There is a huge park across the street with a soccer field and lots of playground equipment, just perfect for Jude. There's also an undeveloped basement which will allow him to ride around on his plasma car without mommy screaming, "watch the walls" every 5 minutes.

The bad, was that Jude was really sick on the weekend. The poor little guy had a bad case of the flu and was pooping 4-5 times in an hour and throwing up. Unfortunately he also had severe cramping and was getting dehydrated so spent some time at emergency getting an IV and some tests done to make sure it was just the flu. All the tests were normal, and after several blue popscicles and lots of cuddles he's back to normal.

Here's Jude helping mom make "banana cake", what Jude calls banana bread. Probably a much more accurate description.

And now for the ugly...it's snowing again. But from the looks of my damaged grass it might look better covered in snow. Now that I look out the window, it is covered in snow.

I am thrilled I will be living in a development that includes snow shoveling and grass cutting. Here's a pic of the new digs. Our door is the one on the very left, and our windows are the ones to the right of the door.

We don't move in until June 1st, and we have to be out of this house on May 8th, so we'll be in transition for a few weeks. But we'll be all settled for summer and ready for lots of barbeques in the backyard and making new friends at the soccer field.

Here's hoping you're good, not bad or ugly.

Glad to hear that things are better with Jude. Give him a big kiss for me. Here's hoping the snow melts quickly and summer arrives soon in Calgary!!

Love,
Auntie Angie
