Who needs a gall bladder anyway?

Here's a quick little update, without any cute Jude pictures, sorry. You haven't heard from me in a bit, as I've been having a little trouble turning yellow and then ultimately having my gall bladder removed. I was in Emergency at Rockyview Hospital from Tuesday, October 14 - Friday, October 19 and then had surgery to remove my gall bladder on Saturday. It seems there was a gall stone blocking the bile duct from my liver to my gall bladder causing me to take on a yellow glow.

The surgery is done by lapriscopy, so recovery has been great. I can't lift anything over 10 lbs for 4 weeks, so Jude is learning to hold my hand instead of getting free rides everywhere.

I think I'm officially out of vestigial organs to remove, so let's hope I stay healthy!

Hey Carolyn,

That's craziness - glad to hear it's not too painful, and hope you fully recover soon!

I hope Jason's carrying you around the house. THAT is great idea.
