We travelled to Taber for the last long weekend of the summer. We had corn, rode on tractors, made homemade spaghetti, played Scrabble, watched movies and had lots of laughs. It was a perfect way to end summer. It also felt like the end of summer as it was cold and rainy at the end of our visit.

Here's Jude concentrating on his driving while Papa Martin enjoys the ride.

Gramma Annie put Jude to work in the kitchen making spaghetti from scratch.

Getting ready to roll out the pasta.

Tasting the dough while Gramma isn't watching.

Then tasting the dough with Gramma! (Actually this was cooked pasta, there's just some others still drying in the picture.)

Jude likes his pasta.

And here are the boys snacking during movie time.

And the signature Jude smile with tongue off to the side. He had so much fun that we were not even 2 miles down the road and he was asleep, and slept the whole way home. Thanks Gramma Annie and Papa Martin for such a nice weekend.
Hope you all had a fun long weekend. Now I have to find some recipes for all the tomatoes we have from their garden!
