Zoo day.

Here's the cutest animal at the zoo. I took the day off work today in celebration of surviving to 38 years of age. Happy Birthday to Shari as well! It was a great day to go look at some creatures both young and old.

This shot is for Gramma Annie, I wanted to get one of Jude with the snake around him, but like his Gramma he was having none of that!

Here are some hungry hippos.

And here's the baby elephant. A baby gorilla was born last week, but they aren't letting the public see her.

Here's one angry little monkey with a very smiley Anne, Jude's friend.

Things got more smiley once we found the playground.



The train was a big hit, so much in fact that I was one of those parents dragging their crying child out to the parking lot.

Tears quickly became replaced with juice and all was well in Judeland.

I must run, as Jason is coming home early to cook me dinner. YUM. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, cards and presents.
