I made my favourite version of carrots today, carrot cupcakes. Jude seems to agree that carrots prepared this way are pretty yummy. Vanilla icing makes a perfect substitute for cream cheese frosting.
Here's Allison washing Jude up after all that cupcake. His little tongue tried to lick off as much of that icing as he could, but there was still a little to wash off.Jude is also saying a new word today, it's baby. He doesn't really refer to anything in particular when he says it. He could be going down the stairs and start chanting it, or be colouring away when he mentions his new word. That puts him up to 4 words, mom, dada, papa and now baby. We are still working on gramma, we'll keep you posted, it seems that Jude likes to keep his words in the family so your chances are good.
Tomorrow Jude gets a haircut, should be interesting. Maybe I'll take the camera and you can witness our little cupcake swatting at the hairdresser. Until then enjoy Jude's messy hair and face.

Grandma laugh because your Mom must have changed her mind, when she was a little girl at home she used to tell me "it should be against the law to put vegetables into dessert!!!", oh well everyone is entitled to change their mind, have fun making cupcakes but even more fun eating them.....
