Here's Jude helping mom make some pie. First stage: mix it all up in a bowl.

Making sure it's all mixed up.

Now for the fun part, the rolling pin.

Jude is making sure that dough is rolled out really good, you need two hands for this.

Still more rolling.

Hey, this is fun.

Now for the taste test...yum. This reminds me of my grandmother, she always used to tell us that eating pie dough would give you worms. Why? I'm not sure, probably because she didn't want us eating it all.

Maybe it tastes a little like worms. I think Jude prefers the finished product.
Today is the Grey Cup, and since we have Saskatchewan and Manitoba relatives we'll cheer for both. Jude's jammies were a little more Blue Bombers than Riders, so we'll have to dress him in green for the game after his nap.
Enjoy the game, and perhaps a little pie. Jude sends out some blueberry pie kisses and hugs. Especially to Gramma Annie and Zachary. Gramma's birthday was Friday and Zach's is today.

Well Jude ...seeing you are getting so good at baking, you better come help Grandma with the Christmas baking....now that she is another year older...or maybe you would have more fun with Zach paint-balling...all kinds of options in this world....oxoxoGrandma
Whoo hoo go Riders go!! I wish I was there to taste your pie Jude. I bet it was fantastic. Maybe next time you can do some baking with your Auntie Angie!! (your choice - puffed wheat cake or rice krispie cake) I love you tons and I miss you. I can't wait to see you all again in January. Hope you still like lots of hugs and kisses Jude because your Auntie Angie is not going to leave those little cheeks alone when I see you.
Love to all,
