Family Vacation

The Lemoines just arrived home from a little getaway to Vancouver and Victoria. Jason had some business stuff to take care of in Vancouver and then we headed out to Victoria to visit with my sister, Shari, and her husband, Simon. We had lots of fun, and here are a few pictures to share with you.

Jude and I spent the day at Granville Island when daddy was working. Jude enjoyed watching all the boats and birds, and I enjoyed drinking my latte and eating croissants. YUM.

When daddy was all done working, Jude drove to the ferry and we headed over to Victoria.

Jude enjoyed playing with all the other kids on the ferry, or more specifically insisting that he go down the slide first...every time! Thank goodness for those kiddie playstations, now if only airplanes could have them.

Here's Auntie Shari and Jude dipping their feet in the ocean. It's just a short walk to the end of Shari and Simon's street to the water. It was beautiful weather when we were there, so we only needed the rubber boots for testing out those ocean waters.

Here's daddy and Jude out for a walk. Downhill in the boots were a bit of a struggle for Jude.

We went to see the salmon swimming upstream to spawn. I have to say I would probably be childless if humans had to do the same thing to have kids. I bet there are way less teenage pregnancies in salmon! I'm not sure how much Jude saw from being all cuddled in the stroller, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Here's Jude and Uncle Simon enjoying some quality tv time.

And in the end, even the Energizer Bunny couldn't keep going. I think it's time for all the Lemoines to recharge before Monday arrives.

Hope this finds you all well, and getting ready for Halloween. Any guesses yet on what the little guy is going to be?
