Jude's First Birthday.

As hoped, Jude really got into his birthday. He squished his soy cupcakes and only ate the icing, while the rest of us enjoyed our "non-soy" cupcakes. It was such a beautiful day, the sun was out and the deck was finished! Family and friends celebrated the big day with hot dogs and all the trimmings.

Jude was very spoiled, with the presents piling higher than him! Here's his french frog, "Tad". It's what every little Lemoine should have.

Cotton candy anyone? Jason and John whipped up a bunch of cotton candy for the crowd. It was as fun to watch as it was to eat. I think Jason said that we almost ate 10lbs of sugar!

Here's Jude checking out the "haul". He's one very lucky little boy to have so many people that love him and that wanted to celebrate his big day with him. He is thrilled to have his own remote control and cordless telephone. He keeps touching them and looking to see if we are going to let him play with them. He (and we) will be entertained for a long time figuring out how all the new toys work. The toys are fun, but spending the day with family and friends was a lot more special.
