Happy Groundhog Day.

Ok, so he's a meerkat and not a groundhog, but it's the closest thing we have around here this morning. Our meerhog did not see his shadow, as there's no time for such things in Jude's life. (By the way, these are old photos from Halloween, there is no way he'd still fit into that costume).

Today Jude will be helping me clean the house and do the laundry. He loves the vacuum cleaner, I'm sure this will change when he gets to the age when he really can help clean the house.

Here's to an early spring!

Well I personally think Meerhogs are way cuter than groundhogs (even if they can't predict spring).

Sending you some west coast sunshine and tree blossoms (yes, the trees think it's spring!)

only one question...what does a meerhog say? (I'm guessing "feed me"?)

hugs,

Cutest little meerhog I ever saw, not that I have seen that many, Jude would never see his shadow, he doesn't stay in one place long enough, PaPa and Grandma are for a early Springtime.......xox

my own little groundhog is 29 today...time flies by quickly... enjoy and savour every moment...

...and why would a groundhog even want to come out on a day like today?
