Little Jude is tired. He experienced his first plane rides and all his Winnipeg relatives, then when he came home it was time for his vaccinations and his flu shot! So asleep he is, trying to recover from all the excitement.
Jude did very well on the airplane. It helped that all the seats have satellite tv, and his favorite show, Rollie Pollie Ollie, just happened to be playing at the time. Take-off and landing hardly seemed to phase him, so it was fun to travel with him.
There were lots of new faces to meet in Winnipeg and he loved them all. I don't think his feet ever hit the ground! I think they'll have a hard time recognizing him the next time they see him at the rate he's growing. Today he measured 27.75" and 17 lbs. Which finally puts him in the 50% for weight, I'm happy about that.
He also started on some new tastes today. He had his first taste of sweet potatoes. He made lots of funny faces, and I don't think much got into his stomach, but we'll keep trying. Maybe he'll prefer peas or squash (since his daddy doesn't I'm not holding out much hope for him.)
Well it's time to get all that vacation laundry done, chat with you tomorrow.
