Happy Easter!

We just returned home from a great Easter weekend at Gramma & Papa's...and now the home of Kit Kat too! Here's Jude and Gramma's new kitty, which ended up with the name Kit Kat. He started out as Death Star, then General Grievious, it was Cuddles for a while...and finally since everyone was just calling it kitty or cat, we came up with Kit Kat.

Kit Kat is about 6 months old, and is playful, patient and the perfect little friend for Jude.

He seems to be just as interested in rocks as Jude is. Good thing Papa has so many!

The Velcoffs came to help colour eggs. We tried Kool-Aid to dye the eggs this year, and it did an ok job, not as good as the store-bought stuff. The only advantage was Easter morning when the eggs smelled like grape, strawberry and cherry :)

Jude also kept the boys busy building Lego. He believes Kyle to be the "Lego Master" after building his Millennium Falcon at Christmas.

Traditional Scrabble game too. Jude's just looking up a few words in the dictionary.

Then the eggs were dry enough to decorate. Here are all the "monsters".

He had so much fun that I wasn't sure he was going to wake-up in time for Easter morning, that it would be more like Easter afternoon...but he did!

Look at that morning hair!
The Easter Bunny knew that Jude couldn't have a lot of the regular Easter candy, so he brought some Lego instead.
What a smart bunny, eh?

The haul.

Truly a great Easter!

Hope you all had such a wonderful time making new friends and spending time with family.

xoxo Jude & Carolyn
