The first report card!

Here's Jude and his very first report card. Let's hope they are all as good as this one!

Here's the direct excerpt from his Kindergarten teacher's note at the end of the report card:

Jude is a very cheerful and happy student. Jude is always eager and ready to learn. Jude has many friends in the class. He enjoys sharing and working with other students. Jude as recently been working on creating patterns and doing some addition with the 'math cubes'. Jude has also been working on his long vowel 'a' sounds. He has been shown some strategies to help him read these worlds and he has been able to apply those strategies to his reading. Jude is a hard worker, but sometimes he does rush through his work. With some reminders, Jude has been slowing down and paying closer attention to the work that he is doing. In every activity Jude actively participates. When volunteers are needed he is usually the first one to offer. Jude's positive attitude permeates throughout the classroom. I encourage Jude to continue to challenge himself by asking to work with other materials throughout the classroom.

I'm very proud of my little Kindergartener.
I hope you stay this interested and positive about school!

Sporting a new haircut. Same old quirky smile :)

And here's Jude finishing up all the Christmas baking! See how easy it is Gramma Annie :)

Hope you're all enjoying getting into the spirit of the season.
